Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Please Consider Donating the following items for the 2025 Prom. One service hour for every $10 spent. Please bring the items and receipt to the Main Office before May 5.
- Fiesta Queen Time is Here! Looking to fulfill both parent and student hours for the year? Consider running for Fiesta Queen. The Parish is looking for 5 girls to run in the Fiesta Queen Contest. Contact Renee Warner at [email protected].
- April 30 - May 4: Volunteer Opportunities for A Night of a Thousand Stars
Hours are good for either 2024-2025 school year or for 2025-2026 school year!
Overview of Event:
Mary Star of the Sea High School will host its 36th annual A Night of a Thousand Stars on Saturday evening, May 3, 2025. This year’s theme is “Garden Party” and the event will be held at the Mary Star of the Sea High School campus. The gala features both silent and live auctions, fine dining and dancing. We anticipate over 450 people from throughout the South Bay and Harbor Area will be attending this gala fundraiser to raise tuition assistance for our students.
Volunteer Reminder:
There will be a mandatory volunteer meeting Tuesday, April 29th at 6:30pm at the MSHS campus. You will receive 2 volunteer hours for attending. Please send proxy if you are not able to attend.

In addition to water, the following serve for Parent Volunteer Hours:
o Coke, Diet Coke, & 7-Up ONLY (24 cans = 1 Hour)
o Vitamin Water (24 bottles = 1 Hour)
o Gatorade (24 bottles = 1 Hour)
o Arizona Tea Variety Pack (24 bottles = 1 Hour)
o Snapple - (24 bottles = 1 Hour)
o Chicken flavored cup-of-soup (24 cups = 1 Hour)
