Pt. Fermin Park in San Pedro

Please join us on April 28, 2012 at Pt. Fermin Park in San Pedro (at the end of Gaffey Street) for this exciting 5-mile and 2-mile event. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. with the event beginning at 8 a.m.. All courses start at the picnic area; they are out and back runs on Paseo del Mar toward the White Point Nature Conservancy adjacent to the recent slide area. Cost per participant is $20 which includes an event T-shirt. Download registration forms here.

The event promotes fitness and fellowship while also helping Fr. Pat Thompson, OMI in his mission effort in Mexicali (Lasuen Family Center). There are no awards but times and places will be posted. A Kid's Run takes place at 9 a.m. with one loop around the park (approx. 1/2 mile). All kids receive special goodies and no registration fee is required for participating children.

All participants and spectators are encouraged to join in the ethnic picnic after the Run/Walk. Free soft drinks are served with your purchase of barbecue sausage sandwiches, fajita plates and burrito
