The Founders Wall will be a predominate structure on the new campus and include the names of donors as follows: Level I $100,000+, Level II $50,000+ and Level III $25,000+.

The Tree of Life will be in the main lobby of the school and include the names of donors as follows: Stone $10,000+ and Leaf $5,000+

Brass Plaques will be used to recognize gifts of $1,000+

Grants/Dedication Gifts may be designated for specific buildings, rooms, or indoor/outdoor areas.

How Does a Pledge Work?
Don’t feel alone if you are having trouble figuring out how a pledge works. This is the most common question volunteers get. Try these simple steps to start, and then call the campaign office (310-833-3861) if you have questions.

1. Decide on a generous amount. To help you with this, consider what that means on a daily basis. For example.

$.82 a day (A cup of Coffee) ($25 / Mo.)

(Pledge $1,000 over 3 yrs. w/10% down - [BRASS PLAQUE]).

$1.39 a day (A Gallon of Gas) ($42 / Mo.)

(Pledge $2,800 over 5 yrs. w/10% down - [BRASS PLAQUE]).

$2.70 a day (A Happy Meal) ($82 / Mo.)

(Pledge $3,300 over 3 yrs. w/10% down - [BRASS PLAQUE]).
(Pledge $5,500 over 5 yrs. w/10% down - [LEAF-TREE OF LIFE]).

$4.93 a day (A Teenager’s Lunch) ($150 / Mo.)

$12.33 a day (Domino’s Large Pizza) ($375 / Mo.)

Contributions are Tax Deductible
The actual cash impact for a $5000 gift (assuming a 35% tax bracket) is really $3,250. The donor gets $1,750 in tax savings because the entire amount $5,000 can be deducted from ordinary income. (Please consult a tax accountant about specifics of your situation.)

Ask about Employee Matching Funds
A total of $83,000 has been added to the Capital Campaign through employee matching programs. Check with your Employee Benefits Department to determine if your company provides this option. If you are retired or a widow/widower of a retired employee, you may still be eligible. Participating companies include:
