Breaking Ground for the 21st Century

Construct Religious Faculty Housing

NorChap1.jpg - 7323 BytesThe remodel of Navy buildings into living quarters for the Norbertine fathers is now complete.

"Four separate buildings were joined together for the living quarters," said Bob Lerma, construction coordinator. "The connecting corridor doubles as the library with alcoves for computer stations and reading. New windows have been added upstairs and down to give plenty of light and cross ventilation. The space has a very pleasing feel."

The completed facility can house up to 16 permanent residents with 3 additional guestrooms.

"There is no question that the impact of the privacy and solitude of the new facility will be significant for the day-to-day living of the Norbertines," adds Lerma. "In addition, their presence on the campus provides an element of security that is essential during construction and in the future."
