	Mary Star of the Sea High School Committees
	The leadership team that oversees the new Mary Star of the Sea High School project is referred to as the Project Steering Committee. This group was organized in 1996 to aid and assist the Pastor with the overall guidance of the project. The Steering Committee has meet and continues to meet every two weeks on average. Campaign Steering Committee The Steering Committee established a separate Campaign Steering Committee to focus on fund raising and appointed leadership from its own ranks. The Campaign Office staff was hired. Project Coordination Committee The Steering Committee has also established a separate Project Coordination Committee to focus on the physical design, permit and construction issues and included leadership from its own ranks. A Project Coordinator is hired. Volunteers In addition to the thousands of hours contributed by the Steering Committees over the last three years, volunteers have given tens of thousands of hours to make solicitation calls, help with administration and support numerous site tours and events staged on the site.
